Closes at back with hooks and eyes. Full ivory skit consists of nine full layers of tulle.There is a variation of this ensemble in The Metropolitan Museum of Art's permanent collection (2005.497.12a, b). Chest: 16 (x2) (armpit to armpit). Waist: 13.5 (x2) (narrowest point). Total Length: 23 (measured shoulder to hem). Waist: 12.5 (x2) (narrowest point). Hip: FULL (measured 6 below waist). Total Length: 37 (measured on side). Very Good / Wear consistent with age and use. The skirt has two tiny spots. Some extremely minor fraying to the end of the ribbon sash.
